Marketo List/Smartlist Upload Fails

I am trying to import 2 lists into Marketo. I have not had issues importing before. Each list is giving a large fail rate on import and they are all tagged: Invalid data type in field tradeShow,

I have tried renaming the field (it maps exactly) and the Trade Show names. Results are continually the same. Has anyone had this issue & been able to resolve it? thanks.

Without revealing to us the data type of the field in Marketo and a sample of your text file, we couldn't help with this.
