Adobe Marketo Engage General

New possible duplicate records could be found by adding new fields or combination of fields in the "Duplicate Fields" filter.Besides the existing ones, we believe the following ones would help detect duplicates:1- Mobile Phone Number2- LinkedIn Profile URL3- Combination of First Name, Last Name and Company NameAnd we understand the level of complexity of doing so should be relatively low.

Hi Marketo Team, Currently the MSI package upgrade versions are not covered in the marketo release notes and no intemations are given to the markto admins to plan the MSI package upgrade. Admins have to keep checking the MSI package in the appexchange to plan the upgrade. It will be good if marketo publish the MSI  release schedule dates and versions in advance to all the markto admins. Thanks,Santhosh. S

Hi All, Much appreciate if anyone can share their insights on this. We sent out daily / weekly emails to external users and we include ourselves as recipient in every email as we want to receive the final copy of email. Is there a way we can set communication limit only to external users, but we continue to receive all the emails we send.  Much appreciate if anyone has solution to this, if not can Marketo team can think of adding this feature?. My suggestion is we can exclude communication level based on domain names in the emails address.    Thanks,Rajendra Patil

As a technical solution provider, I would like to provide detailed information on where Marketo assets are stored in instances where users have deployed workspaces. While Marketo's REST API offers string labels for workspaces on most of its calls, this is inconsistent. Calling a form by ID for details results in workspaceId being returned in lieu of the workspace name; however, there is no call to associate a workspace's ID to its in-platform label. Is it possible to update this call to act like other Assets so the workspace name is retrieved as a string instead?

When setting calendar availability in Dynamic Chat you can only choose availability by day of the week, this request is to enable controlling availability by specific dates i.e. instead of choosing every monday you can specify which mondays you are available

This is a pretty simple optimization, but I would love to be able to just click on a smart list and see how many people there are just like in a static list or smart campaign. Just having it appear somewhere in the "Status" tab. Having to click on the "People" tab in a smart list and wait for all the leads/contact information to load when I just need a number seems unnecessary.

When setting up engagement programs we always work with nested programs, not with stand alone emails. The recipient timezone feature in the stream candence is not available to nested programs or smart campaigns. To us this is a feature missing from the tool. Especially for global campaigns it is important that something like this is made available. I would also like to understand why this has not been implemented yet as I see quite some request on this topic on other channels.

We have forms that are embedded on our website (non-Marketo pages) and when troubleshooting issues or making edits to these forms, we use the website code to get the form number and then we have to try and locate this form number in Marketo by clicking through all our forms (or making educated guesses based on experience/naming conventions). It would be nice to be able to search for forms by their "Asset ID #" or Form # instead of only being able to search by name.   Admitting some of this is self-inflicted due to the amount of forms we have!

I would like an "abort email program if number of qualified leads exceeds this limit" feature in the admin, similar to the limit for smart campaigns, to prevent users from accidently mailing to the entire database.

Right now only lead campaign limit overrides are allowed in actual smart campaigns,  the same setting should be available on the settings tab of an email program where that campaign is built in.

There isn't a direct integration between Google Lead Forms and Marketo. While it can be connected through third-party tools or via a CRM, can we explore a simpler solution for direct integration with Marketo?

Hi, We have recently moved from Pardot to Marketo and a key feature that we believe is missing from Marketo is the ability/permission to limit the number of emails a user can send via an email send program.  Our business model means we often have people transitioning in and out of the business and the ability to limit a user email sending limit would allow us to have more confidence and lower risk that users could inadvertantly send to a large audience like the entire marketable database. In Pardot we had a hard limit of 20,000 emails per email send set at the user level. Which allowed us to mitigate against the problem.  If anyone has any suggestions on how we could achieve this within the current limits of Marketo that would be welcome but we believe it is a feature that Marketo should have in the future.

We would like a send-time optimization feature available in Marketo for emails.

Currently only images use a certain editor that allows images to be "tracked" so you know where they have been used (email, landing page). PDFs do not use the same editor, so they cannot be tracked. If you try looking up under "Used by" tab where your PDFs are used, you get  ‘No data yet’ message. As a result, you are unable to track where they are used. With increase of accessibility campaigns by organizations, this would be a helpful tool to use to find where PDFs are used and where they may need to be replaced.

I've run into a lot of scenarios where we could use a 'demo room' where we can show presenters how to use the Adobe Connect software for Interactive Webinars without wanting to waste up a precious Interactive Webinar event in our contract.

We're using A/B testing to try out a new email design and prove that it's the better option.  To do this, we're sending to 100% of the audience, but 50% receives the old version, 50% receives the new.  We'd love to be able to see how version A performed across multiple email sends versus version B.  It doesn't look like Marketo lets you combine these test results into one view, so we're pulling the data from each dashboard and organizing it ourselves.  I know it's not the standard use of the A/B testing feature, but it would great if reporting were more robust!

Add a function to the Design Studio for uploading assets that captures alt text, descriptions, and any other ADA tags necessary for accessibility compliance. This way, you only need to input default information once, with the option to edit it if needed. The images and other assets will retain this information, so you won’t have to re-enter it each time you send an email or create a landing page.

Typically, we filter leads based on their email addresses. However, there are instances when we need to identify leads using their MarketoIDs instead. While we can search for these IDs individually, it would be more efficient to have the option to input multiple MarketoIDs at once into the filter, rather than searching for them one at a time.

We would like the ability to track and report on email read rates: https://www.litmus.com/blog/email-read-rates.

Hey all, I think it would be very helpful if filters in Smart Lists could link out to what's being referenced, instead of having to search to find what you're looking for. Basically, just link up what's highlighted in the screenshot.  I know this would make my life easier on occasion. 😁 Also, if this has already been proposed, feel free to point me in the direction of that post. I wasn't able to find anything via search! Have a good one!

I would like to be able to use Marketo's REST API to move Program(s) from Folder A (current) to Folder B (desired).Currently, there is no available API endpoint to do this operation, but it is crucial to a fully automated Archive process which maintains Program Member Data.I think this Marketo Nation post does a good job of describing the issue as well: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/rest-api-to-move-assets-move-email-program-frrom-folder-a-to/td-p/300009Ideally, I'd like there to be a POST "Move Programs" endpoint, but it might also be possible to accomplish this with the POST "Update Program Metadata" endpoint as well if a query parameter for "Folder" was added. Thanks for considering!

Have hover over text on the Drill-Down Tab stating to "select a row to Drill-Down"

Within our Salesforce-Marketo Sync, we sometimes need to resync a custom object. Sometimes it is because we've added a new field and need to populate it for every record, and sometimes it is because there are records active on the object in Marketo that have been deleted in Salesforce (and the sync somehow missed the deletion). To resync an object currently, you have to disconnect that object from every asset within Marketo where is has been referenced (smart list filters, campaign flow steps, etc.). This can mean going into hundreds of assets one-by-one and essentially breaking the logic by removing the relevant filters. This is not only time and resource intensive, but also very destructive. Once the object has been resynced, one has to go back to all of those assets, or at least those that are still in use, and add the relevant filters back. There should be a way to resync a SFDC custom object without disconnecting it from every asset.
