Adobe Marketo Engage General

Hello Marketo folks, I have created an AB test with whole emails in an Email Send program and the test has run successfully.  Now I am required to run another AB tests for a different set of whole emails in the same program.    Is this possible? or should I create another Email send program under the main Email send program and have the AB test set up under the sub email program ?   Please advise   Thanks

Hello We have a form on a RTP Dialog Web Personalization. The form is set to "Stay on page".What we are trying to do is once the form is submitted have a success message replace the form and the page not to refresh. We have the page displaying the success message initially but the page refreshes so quickly that the user really does not have time to see the message. When the page refreshes we also get the URL with this extra parameter that breaks/errors the page I assume because of some server setting that then does not allow this parameter.?aliId=eyJpIjoiTkZIam9TaHptdWFtZE5ReCIsInQiOiJwN2R4Wjd4OEFJWW9cL1dEcHB5cm5ndz09In0%253D&iesrc=ctr   See code that we are using: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> </head> <body> <script src="//pages.to.xyz.com/js/forms2/js/forms2.min.js"></script> <div class="form-container"><form id="mktoForm_6739"> <h2>Recession Recovery: Stay Ready with Our Economic Updates</h2> <br /><b

Hi,   I've created a form which is embedded into a website.   Each time the form is completed, I would like an email to go to a central mailbox. The email needs to include details of all of the fields which have been completed on the form.   To be able to do this, I believe that I need to create send tokens for each of the form fields. Is this a Email Script token? If so, can anyone help with what script would need to be included within this token to display the required information?

I have a an odd request from our Sales team, but I would like to check if I am missing anything.  We want to run a specific campaign and demand from form should be creating new leads with a new record type ID even if they already exist in Salesforce (under different record type) - create a duplicate.  This sounds to me as an easy no-go as they won't be able to see any history in Salesforce, interesting moments due to duplicate record + all future problems on Marketo side. Technically can I even push a new "create" Sync to Salesforce flow step? (I would guess I could delete the lead's id value right before the step).   Do you see any immediate benefit or red flag of this "campaign" specific record type approach (in SFDC? in Marketo?)

Hello,I am a member of a team that inherited a very messy instance of Marketo. We recently went over our compliance limit are are trying to remove a large amount of leads that have no marketable value from Marketo. We built a list of people that were in Marketo but not Salesforce. This list amounted to about 31,000 people due to poor database management from the people we inherited the system from. I then followed the steps from this support document: Delete People in a Smart List or List - Marketo Docs - Product Documentation. I built the list in Marketing Activities, selected all, and then finally clicked delete person. I waited almost an hour for the process to run since it was so many people, processed in batches of 200. When it was done, the smart list I had built was empty (besides a few unsubscribes) but when I went to the database tab, the "All People" system smart list still showed the same count as when we started. The people that were deleted were pulled directly from this li

Hi all! I am having this issue, and I need to resolve it. We have our logo in a snippet, when emails get sent out "cslogo-small.png" populates before the preview of the email copy. Any idea how to get rid of this? Ex. below:

I recently read about DKIM improving email deliverability. Is it recommend to Upgrade to 2048 bits DKIM Keys from 1024 bits? Is this a necessary upgrade? Our website.com DKIM record, which is what was in question and we don’t use in Marketo, has been configured with the current value since we first set up the website.com email in its current form about 7 years ago, and I’m reluctant to make changes without understanding exactly what the changes entail, since it may affect our email functionality.

Hi All,   Currently, I'm using LaunchPoint Integrations with Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn - but for some of our digital buying we use DV360 (Google Display & Video) however, the current integration doesn't seem to share over with the Google LaunchPoint Service.    I was doing some research and seen that it is possible to integrate using LaunchPoint via LiveRamp but couldn't find any documentation on this - do any of you out there have experience with this?   Thanks,Logan

I am trying to set up a "general marketing list" that would receive our weekly email blasts but I'm having trouble defining that smart list. We currently obtain leads through form fills in multiple default programs which each have smart campaigns to send a flow of emails (around 5-7 emails in each program with a wait step between each email). I want to exclude anyone who could currently be in a flow and already be scheduled to receive an email from us in the next few days, but when I try to use the "Not Member of Program" filter, it filters out all leads because everyone is a member of a program (even if they have received all emails from that program). Should I be removing people from programs once they complete the final flow, or is there another way to filter people that I'm missing? We do set a "completed flow" status at the end of each campaign, but if someone has completed one program's flow, they could theoretically still be in another program's flow. We also have a follow-

We implemented OneTrust on our website. Since that time, we have been unable to collect webpage visits from certain high value pages. Has anyone else had similar issues? Troubleshooting with both OneTrust and Marketo has gotten us nowhere. Thanks,Christie

Hi All,  I was wondering if anyone runs into this issue when tracking link clicks in emails!    I noticed that in the results section of our emails smart campaign, clicks show up correctly and give the information of what link was clicked. But when I want to filter down in a separate smart campaign using this smart list : Clicked Link in email, A, B. Link is A. The person does not appear in the list.    Any luck?

I built a smart campaign so that an email can be sent when someone fills out a form, but an email is not sent when I tested using my personal email and work email. I see two members for "01.Visited"- visiting a landing page, but I don't see any members for "02.Converted"-filled out a form. Obviously, an email is not sent. Can someone please help me understand what I need to change? Below are the screen shots. Thanks for your help!!!

Hello,   We run campaigns regularly through Marketo for conferences throughout the year. We utilize SalesForce to track the contacts then pull that list to create our outreach campaigns. I want to automate the process of changing the SalesForce contact field "Email is Bouncing" to true, when an email bounces. My best thought was to create a trigger, that runs whenever an email bounces, thus changing the data value "Email is bouncing" to true. I just am not sure if that will update SalesForce with that information as well. Is it also better to do a running trigger, or to do a retroactive "Campaign" that takes all emails bounced, then changes them once the campaign is done?    Thank you!

Hello,   I keep getting an error message emailed to me that Marketo is unable to log into our Google Adwords accounts. However, our paid search looked into it and everything looks good on their end. I am not sure why I keep getting this message. Has anyone else ever encountered this?   Why: Marketo is unable to log into your Google AdWords account What to do now? Download Error Log and contact Google AdWords support Error details: Activity Sent : 5 Successful : 4 Failed : 1

Take the following code #set($nrOfLinksInOutput = 1) #if($nrOfLinksInOutput.equals(0)) #throw_v3("ineligible") #else #set($output = 'Links available') #end This above works, and the email can be approved in the cases where $nrOfLinksInOutput = 1 & $nrOfLinksInOutput = 0 ( the throw case )   Of course this is a test case, the reality relies on the length of an arraySo this is the ‘real’ code   #set($usedURLArray = [] ) Some processing that can add items to the array and then: #set($usedURLArrayLength = $usedURLArray.size() ) #if($usedURLArrayLength.equals(0)) #throw_v3("ineligible") #else ##set($output = 'Links available') #end This code doesn’t succeed, and I am not able to approve my email.Someone who can tell me what the problem could be?

Hi Team,   Please help to answer my query:   The Web page visits is not getting tracked in Marketo, how do I trouble shoot this issue.   I am not experienced in reviewing code related issues, so it would be great if you explain in detail.   Thanks in advance, Deepthi.

Hi everyone, if you setup a webhook your able to map respond values to data fields. I wondered if it is possible to map this values to custom program member fields. This fields are shown as an option in the mapping context window but if I try it I get an error message "Unexpected error: RuntimeException:: 877 -- <field name> not found".  The webhook is called from a smart campaign within a program.    Do you have any experiance with that?Kind regards Wolfram

I have seen posts about this on this group - however - I still can't get this to work for me - so I am hoping that there is a new suggestion out there.   I am trying to send a "Certificate of Attendance" to attendees of a virtual summit.  I want them personalized.  I have created the form in marketo and it produces the dynamic content on a landing page - however - I would like that page to be delivered as a PDF.  I tried using PDFmyURL without success.   Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

in one of my recent campaigns is lead behavior at the same time sent/delivered/open or click, what should I consider bot open or real open?

Hello Marketers!!   To all our customers who already have Dynamic Chat or are interested to start using Dynamic Chat, we would like to announce that we are launching a new program called the "Customer Lighthouse Program" starting the 3rd week of April 2022. Since Dynamic Chat is a completely new addition to Marketo Engage's portfolio, we designed this program to enable customers with all the necessary knowledge about Dynamic Chat.    What is the goal of this program?  Our goal is to work closely with customers and enable them to implement Dynamic Chat on their website. What do I get by being part of this program?  Priority access to Dynamic Chat (in case you do not have access already) One-on-one help from the product team to get you started and clarify any questions  Know best practices, top use cases, etc An early peek into upcoming features and an opportunity to share feedback and influence the roadmap   Intereste

Hi, I'm trying to update the values of a certain field which is being used in several campaigns to another field that will replace the current field in the campaigns. Do I create an executable campaign with a Change Data Value activity to migrate the old values to the new field?

Hello. There are several posts in Community about how to enable multiple forms to work on a single external web page. Our web developer is having difficulty using the 'solves' to get the forms to work. Here's what he told me he tried that's not working. (his notes to me) Will take any advice you may have.

Wonder how do Program settings affect a program. Saying, how would the programs below different regarding Lead Management or the campaigns' behavior, etc?

I'm having a problem with something that has previously worked just fine but isn't now. In the default template, the Hero w/ CTA Module should look like this in my email blast when it arrives in Outlook:     But when it arrives in Outlook, it looks like this:       It can take 5-10 minutes for the blue background graphic to show up in Outlook. The background graphic file size is small (29kb), and it's a jpg. I have other email blasts utilizing the Hero w/ CTA Module module with different jpg files, and they load just fine. The jpgs are the same size (30kbs).   Am I missing something to optimize it so that it loads faster?

Hi, I want to put the registration cap in my events. In the events, we have enabled two types of registration : In-person event and Virtual event. I want to put the cap for both types of registrations. Can anyone please explain me the entire process for this. Though, I am aware about the token (program-capacity) which can be added in the event, the webhook service and the campaign. But I don't know the exact procedure of doing it.
