Hi, I think it will be extremely helpful if we can tag programs with custom tags and then run a smart campaign to change the value of this or that field if the lead was added to a program with this or that tag. In that way we won't have to keep adding every new program we're building to the flow that changes the value of the field. 

Marketo’s current permission structure lacks the nuance required to allow users control in areas that are safe, but restrict them from areas that are not..  What would help are features that provide for: Area and folder level permissions  Admin only “lock” functionality on specific programs, smart campaigns, and assets

Hi Team,   If we have multiple programs in the instance and we want to move them to a single folder then we need to move each and every program to that folder.  The drag-and-drop feature is helpful here, however, if we have a huge number of programs then this will consume more effort, so would it be possible to have a program multi-select option? This will help us in multi-selecting our assets and moving them all at once.    Thanks

When creating a custom object in Marketo, 3 fields are automatically created: Marketo GUID, Created At and Updated At. These fields are not available in the contraints when using a filter to which this new custom object is linked. These could be extremely useful if you are planning on using these to track custom activities in CRM so you can leverage the "before" or "after" in your date ranges based on the Created or Updated at values.

Programs currently display a simple 'Around __ people are blocked from emails' message. It would be really helpful if Marketo could distinguish between leads that had unsubscribed versus those that are blocked for other reasons (e.g. invalid email addresses), particularly with operational emails that ignore subscription status.

We don't have any activity log or any smart list, where we can find out the list of deleted records. It is something like if we connect third party tool via API it will automatically delete the record from Marketo but without API we can't able to get this data that which person was getting deleted via API. I would like to suggest to implement to get the list of records deleted from Marketo database, it can be any smart list or any activity log that we would easy to find out the data and the source of deletion.

We need to disable open and click tracking to comply with regulations in certain countries (such as Germany and Austria), but that currently has to be done for each email (open tracking) and each individual link within the email (link tracking). We would ideally be able to track or not track an open/click based on the country where that person resides, or if we have been given permission to track that by the user.

It would be extremely helpful for Marketo to create an integration so that email analytics can be connected and filtered into Google Analytics. Have any other Marketo Users have made use of third party integrations by creating their own connections into Marketo for email metrics?

It would be nice to have function to limit number of program member. In case of having event with limited registration number, we have to always watch if  program member (event registration) exceeds limit or not.   Automatically limiting registration number is very comvenient.

I am trying to move images from sandbox to prod. I want to make sure the structure in prod makes sense.Ideas / complaints , and some seriously whacked out workarounds are posted all over this forum from people needing an easy way to download one or many images from their design studio. How is this still not something in Marketo when I can see ideas posted from 10 years ago?Is this a dead platform as I have seen some users suggest? Anyway, please implement functionality so we can easily download images.  Here are two use cases.1. In the design studio, I want to be able to select an image and download it2. In design studio, I want to be able to select multiple images, and download them all in one click. 

Self service flow step does not send Munchkin ID in its header. This prevents identifying the instance and providing the correct logic in return.Request you to please send Munchkin ID in the header, so we are able to identify the instance and provide appropriate logic. Thanks,Arvind

For greater modularity/reusability, please allow a special "this program" picklist option in the "Change Program Member Data" flow step so it can be used in central/global executable campaigns  

create a value when using the 'in time frame' operator to be next month.  That way we can have recurring campaigns that will look at date fields and trigger off of upcoming events.  especially helpful for fields that do not have a negative compliment.  For example: start date in time frame next month.

We have dozens of web services making REST API calls into our Marketo instance on a daily basis. Getting "web service error" notifications is great, but they aren't actionable at all for us since we have no way of knowing which web service / api user is making the calls that are failing. Having the API user included in these notifications would enable us to quickly troubleshoot. Having to reach out to Marketo support every time one of these errors comes up is ridiculous.

Being able to change the layout of reports, not just add or remove columns.A colleague in marketing has requested a report of top pages viewed by MQLs and SALs, to see what content is being viewed the most by those groups and where either we're lacking content or have something particularly strong we can replicate. I've created a Smart List looking at MQL and SAL Lifecycle stages with blog views in the last 30 days but the report gives me the people and the referrer, when what I need is a report broken down by the page and the number of times it was viewed.Because we're looking at it against Lifecycle Stage it isn't something that can be done in GA, and I know the data I need exists in Marketo, but there's no way to get it out without doing a Smart List for each page. 

I am looking for a way to filter and view Sync Errors in Admin using Marketo Segmentations for example by region.Filter options available are limited to Date and Time and Error Type. I can view Notifications to check daily to see if there is a pattern or common errors (invalid field/value) but this is one big bucket for the instance and cannot be filtered by region. Each error needs to be investigated to know which region the lead comes from. We have a global instance and segmentation for 4 Global Regions (plus sub-regions), so I only want to view my region errors and fix those! Is there a way to use Marketo Segmentation which is reflected in Salesforce to filter by region - EMEA / NNA/ APAC / LAR ?

Currently if Marketo users are set to expire on a given date (say, quarterly), you have to go in and modify each individual user profile to set a new expiration date. I would like to be able to bulk change the date, so that for my active users I could change them all at once instead of having to modify dozens of individual profiles. The ability to add or remove roles from a profile would also be a nice upgrade, but isn't as pressing since roles do not change as often as expiration dates.

It's possible to view the size of the "last cast" in an engagement program, and the expected size of the next "cast" of every other type of campaign or email send. Would be very nice to see the expected size of each "next cast."

Its not ideal for us when we clone our salesforce PROD, the newly created sandbox will still have MSI config pointing to Marketo PROD API. We have business need of having multiple full-instance cloned from PROD and unlike any other managed package, MSI keeps the configuration unchanged and we are experiencing same user is being tracked as usage from different OrgID, resulting going over limit of seats/licenses we purchased. Any other managed package would not require any additional steps and ideally, MSI should also reset or update in a way that we are not charged for same user from different orgID. If we have to test in UAT, we can always update the config to point to UAT vs PROD depending on need and this is how almost all managed packages in salesforce works.  Thoughts?

It would be nice to be able to add people to groups in Marketo Sales Insight Actions by sorting by state or territory. Our sales team would love this feature instead of having to search and add a person to a group one by one. 

I would like an easier way to report on Challenger/Champion email performance with a basic report.As it stands, either I have to create separate reports for test variants, or run a RCE report that may or may not have updated results.It seems to me that the ability to split an email performance report up by test variations would greatly enhance their value.

Hello.We do have our Marketo platform connected to various 3rd party tool (Event, Webinar, ...).  Integration with these 3rd party tools are running fine. However, making sure that data consistency with our internal system is aligned is often difficult : a slight difference in a picklist value, a fields not matching what is expected with your CRM and you will got some synchronization error.Chasing errors by looking at your batch/trigger results, or looking at Lead log to understand where you got a hit is still a manual task and time consuming.What if we get a smartlist filter that we could set in order to track SFDC synchronization issues, get report or launch some flows to address them if required? Even better, if in such smartlist, we are able to customize type of issue (ie: by adding a constraint), it will be very helpful. Don't hesite to share you thoughts. It just an idea and may be some people looking at this thread may have same interest. 🙂

It would be great if there was a recycling bin or trash can that would hold data for a set amount of time before it's permanently delete. Similar to the SFDC recycle bin where we can go in and see what's been deleted the last 21 days, and also as an admin I'm able to go in and see what other users have deleted out of the system and if need be retrive the files.

Aside from the label denoting the (sandbox) UI environment, would it be possible for it to be made visually a bit more different so that users working across both environment can clearly denote its the sandbox.  Maybe the header ribbon be a different colour?
