Any ideas for how to distinguish various Facebook Ads in Marketo. How do you pass along Campaign Name, section, asset, etc from Facebook ad to Marketo?

Hi Nina,

My understanding is that you will have to use specific Marketo fields.

Yes, that makes sense. We do that for all of our other campaigns. But

how do we get Facebook to pass that data to us?

Hi Nina,

If Facebook is setup as a Service in your LaunchPoint section, you will be able to:

- match the Facebook form fields in Facebook with the fields in Marketo

- see the list of Facebook forms in "Fills out Facebook Lead Ads Form" and chose the one(s) you want to use as trigger in your smart campaigns:

Hope it helps.

Best,

Emilia

Yes, that does help. And I learned the Facebook is not passing along

hidden fields at this time, so there really is no way to store campaign

information with Facebook leads. Hopefully this feature will be added in

the future.
