Email Performance link report shows strange data

We are sending comuunity newsletter once in a month and in 2 months in a row email link performance shows really strange data

while google-analytics shows only 715 pageviews of the same story

and the same thing happen in the July issue:

and again, GA says, only 5995 page views

moreover, our top-stories has never ever received that many clicks neither before, nor after that
i feel there is some kind of mistake, but i don't know how it can be explained
