Dynamics/Marketo Integ - Syncing Opportunities Tied to Accounts (not Contacts)

Our client is looking to integrate Marketo and Dynamics. However, their opportunity data ties to accounts rather than contacts/leads. Can this be handled with Marketo's native Dynamics CRM connector or would it require a custom configuration?
