Attribute 'asyncProcessing' has no effect when updating Lead by REST API

Hi all,

I'm trying to update a Lead by REST API.
I tried both the cases when asyncProcessing is false and when asyncProcessing is true, but I would get the same response.
How could I get a process handle or some other thing and start listening its status when async-updating Lead data?
