Wondering about the ROI of video?

Hey all,

If you use video in any of your campaigns, you may be interested in this Marketo webinar:

Full disclosure: I'll be one of the presenters, but I wanted to share it with you guys (hopefully that's cool) as it's not about my company's product. We'll just be presenting a bunch of interesting data from the marketing campaigns we've run here at ClearFit, which may be relevant to you too.

I tried super hard to put together some case studies that would benefit the community. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started, but the data I found was really exciting! (At least if you're a data geek like me, which most of you probably are!)

A few tidbits:

  • Examples of video CTAs in emails and data to show how video boosts email click-through rate by over 50%
  • How to demonstrate whether video views are actually converting into customers
  • Understanding the bottom-line ROI of video
  • How we saw in one campaign that video viewers were over 2,000% more likely to buy

The webinar is co-hosted by Vidyard (a video marketing platform with a Marketo integration) as part of Marketo's Launchpoint series, but I think this insights would be useful to any business that uses video regardless of platform(s).

Is this super high level or are you going to get pretty tactical? You mention demonstrating conversions.. are you going to show some actual marketo reports? Thanks, Jeff

Hey Jeff,

It's pretty tactical. There are actual screenshots of campaigns with the performance data and bottom-line stats (e.g., 90 day conversion rate of leads who watched video vs. did not watch video, etc.)

Due to how the data is structured most of the reporting was done via smart lists which I summarized in a table, but it's all real stuff. I tried to go into the nitty gritty as much as possible.
