With the Landing Page designer, can you place elements inside a div from a template?

I made a landing page template that has several different <div> areas for us to place content in. When I go to the landing page designer, all the content I add to the page simply is placed using absolute positioning at the highest level of the html body. Is there a way to get the content to insert at the correct place of the HTML tree?

You may be able to see the DIVs on the lower right sections, however, that has not worked well for me.

LP templates don't work the same way email templates do.

What I usually do is design the LP so that it is obvious where to place forms and text.
