Will Marketo sync a lead to SFDC without an email address?

We have a list of leads, some with email addresses some with only phone numbers, that we'd like to import to a Marketo program. Our sales team starts with a phone call and can update the lead information with an email address after the call, but will Marketo push the lead to SFDC without an email address?

Most SFDC subscriptions have email address as a required field, so we can't sync it over. If that is not the case for yours you may be able to make that work, but you probably want to test it first as I'm not certain.

We had that requirement too as Erik mentions above. But, for leads that we obtain through a bought list, we don't have email addresses and I actualy require the Insdide sales person to find an excuse to get the email address. In effect, the need to sync caused us to review the mandatory fields in SFDC. We now don't it as a mandatory field. And so yes, it syncs with SFDC as a consequence.
