When I look at the members list for opened I get 35 names yet the dashboard is recording 50 opens. Any ideas why the difference in number of opens?

Hi Patricia,

If you are comparing a report and a smart list, there will be some discrepancies between the number of opens. The smart list will give you the number of unique leads (names) who opened an email, whereas the report will show all the clicks obtained within your defined timeframe (i.e. if a lead clicks multiple times on that email)

Hope this helps

Thanks Emma.

So just to be clear if my opens are 50 in the dashboard, this can include people who have opened the email more than once?

Many thanks :-)

Hey,

Yes, Opens are Total Opens, so if an email has been opened multiple times, it will adds up.

Creating a smartlist will be your best option in getting Unique Opens on an email.
