Where to do Marketo exercises

Some Marketo Exercises require doing steps that can not be undone such as creating new channels and fields. After doing these exercises, they will remain in the system even though they probably are not necessary in production.

Where are users doing their Marketo exercises? Is there a way to delete these exercise steps after completing them?

I too wish there was a "sandbox" marketo that I could test in. Instead I test in production very carefully.

I also set up an area in my instance that is only for testing, and a few test leads in SFDC that I can test/practice on. 

So while it is in production, which is unfortunate, it is an area where my users know they can test but be careful. The caveat -- we only have a few users doing this.
