Yes, that is quite basic! Form data is posted to the lead database; the fields you select in the Form Editor are filled in with values according to the blocking rules in Admin > Field Management (by default, every subsequent form post updates the stored value).

Hi Sarah,

Sanford is spot on. Sometimes when I have to explain this to internal stakeholders I say 'imagine every person when they register a file is created for that person. Then every time they fill out a form the file is updated. Like Sanford advised you can go into that file and add new places to store extra data and then reference these as fields in a form.

To extend upon this... when you are creating campaigns you can then leverage these data points as filters and triggers to build your automated workflows.
