What's difference between "Send Alert and Send Email"

Can anyone describe in detail about a use of "Send Alert and Send Email" condition, in flow step?

Hi @amod_kumar_shar,

 

Send alert means you are sending a real-time alert email to sales owners or to other email addresses (who need not even have records in Marketo), for example when a lead fills out a form

 

Send email means sending email to leads themselves

 

Both types use Marketo email templates + emails.

Send alert means you are sending a real-time alert email to sales owners or to other email addresses (who need not even have records in Marketo), for example when a lead fills out a form

 

Send email means sending email to leads themselves

 

Both types use Marketo email templates + emails.

    Sending any email to sales owner/account owner will be consider as a 'Send Alert'.

    Not sure what you mean by “will be consider” here?

     

    If you want to send to someone related to the lead, instead of to the lead, you have to use Send Alert. It need not be to the owner specifically.
