What is Webhook Response Code: 1000?

When trying to make a webhooks call, the results page shows the webhook call has Response Code: 1000 listed in the pop up box with no JSON response present.

I've verified from logs on the target webserver that Marketo never makes the requested call.

Can someone tell me what Response Code: 1000 means, and why Marketo isn't making the outbound call when manually run from a smart campaign?

There is a engineering task to make this error more descriptive.

Webhook error 1000 is "Cannot call webhook in batch campaign."

    Thanks DJ. I'll try adding triggers to the campaign, but are there best practices for testing webhooks on Marketo?

    There is no "Change Lead" trigger, so it appears the only good way to test this are to use the "New Lead" trigger and delete/re-add test leads. This is a pretty cumbersome way to test.
