What is the scope of smart list and static list under Lead Database.

Static List=you have to specifically add a person to it.

Smart List=dynamic database pull.

Static List: Consist only of records you've accumulated and they remain unchanged unless you manually add or remove record. Static list can either be created using records that already exist in your database, or through a manual upload in tool.

Smart List: Is Dynamic rule-based lists of leads that automatically update as leads data changes. You can't add or remove leads manually instead, you set up list rules and Marketo automatically adds matching leads and deletes them when they no longer match.
