What is the best way to check how many emails a single lead has received over any period of time?

I want to go back and see how many total email messages we've sent to one particular lead. What would be the best way to go about checking this? It doesn't seem to be captured in lead details. I'm only aware of the campaigns they were involved in.

    If you're just looking for a one-off, you can go back through the activity history to count the number of "email delivered" annotations

      The Activity Log also has a filter option available.  You can filter to only see Email Activities.

      Try creating an Email Performance report, and specify the lead's email address in the report's smart list tab.
