What is the best way/filter to delay new leads from entering smart list after a certain amount of time? i.e. wait 14 days before adding new leads to stream

Hi Marketo Community,

I'm fairly new to Marketo so an answer to this question would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to set up an engagement program which will pull new leads into a smart list/nurture stream only after 14 days from when the lead is created.

I know using the Filter 'Lead was Created' with condition 'After' can do this, but the only option is by a specific date, not by days/months etc. Is there another filter/condition I can use or am I missing something here?

Hi Roger,

You necessarily use a smart camapign and a flow to add leads to the EP and to the stream. This is done using the "add to engagement program" flow step. So just add a "wait 14 days" flow step just before it.

And I do not want to be patronizing, but get some training There is plenty of online free training accessible from the community (products and support -> university) for a start.

Your smart campaign should look like this:

Smartlist: "Lead is created" (trigger)

Flow:

step 1) wait 14 days

step 2) Add to engagement program
