A Munchkin session cookie can start out as anonymous, meaning Munchkin is sending activities to Marketo but they're not associated with a known lead.

Later, if a person clicks an email or fills out a form in the same browser, the cookie becomes associated with a new or existing lead.

At the point of association, some (but not all) triggers on Visits Web Page and Clicks Link On Web Page will fire, even though the activity occurred in the past.  That's called deferred triggering.
