What if a lead satisfies two separate transition rules?

Hi Community--

What happens if a lead satisfies two separate stream-transition rules?

For example, 'Data Value Changes: Field X" is the rule for one stream and 'Data Value Changes: Field Y" is the rule for the other stream.

Which stream would the lead get placed into?

Thanks,
Hoi

I would think whichever rule they qualify for first. Like if Data Value change for field y first then they would be pushed in that direction.

What about when multiple fields are changed at the same time?

This isn't uncommon--our Sales Reps update multiple fields at the same time in Salesforce.

Hoi, there will always be an order of operations. The lead will be sent to the stream to whatever field updates in Marketo first.

If this is a big issue, you can avoid this issue by creating separate campaigns and explicitly exlcuding the other in the filter criteria, then having a wait step in one of the campaigns to stagger the logic.
