What happens if a lead doesn't receive email in Smart Campaign due to communication limit?

What happens in this scenario?

1. I have a Smart Campaign set up to send a series of emails to leads over the course of a few weeks, the emails are non-operational.

2. I have the check box checked for blocking non-operational emails if the lead is over the communication limit. 

3. Lead reaches the daily communication limit but is due to get an email from this Smart Campaign later that day. 

Does anyone know if the email the lead is due to receive via Smart Campaign will just never get sent to them? Or will it get sent the next day?

It will never be sent to them. You will have to re-run the campaign another day.
