At my company we already have some of the what i will call 'basic' interesting moment, (clicks link in email, fills out form, attends webinar, etc.) I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else has some new/creative Interesting Moments to add to the Sales Insight?

Depending on your company and what you sell, creating interesting momements or milestones for behavior that often leads to a sale can be beneficial. These rules can be pretty sophisticated based on your smart list.

As my company sells multiple products, I list those purchased in SI as well.

Website behavior/visiting certain pages is another we do.

Your goal most likely with SI is to inform your sales team. Feel free to ask them what they would like to see.

I agree with Tim, Bobby.

We track various activities:
  • Link clicks in certain emails from marketing
  • "Important" page views (i.e. pricing page, demo page, etc)
  • Visited booth at a conference
When a SFDC Opportunity closes, I like to pull the Opportunity Analyzer report for the deal to show the touchpoints marketing had.
