Welcome email to new leads

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set up an operation email (welcome email) to leads that just jump into Marketo / Salesforce. Would you help me find the right trigger for this campaign?

The flow is this:

1) New lead jumps from landing page that is created in Instapage to Salesforce.

2) In Salesforce the lead gets the attribute (T) Lead Source = x and is synced to Marketo as a new lead.

3) When this happens, I would ideally need to send a welcome email.

Does anybody know what the trigger should be?

Thank you for helping me. I am new to Marketo and am constantly learning new stuff.

You can see the appropriate trigger by looking in such a lead's Activity Log.  (I'll let you learn it for yourself. )

When building triggers and filters based on activities, you should always start from the ActLog (including the ActLog Detail page, which you can see by clicking the Activity ID).

I used the trigger Person created as it seems to be a good choice according to Activity log. I added a constraint: Person source.

I am currently testing. Thank you for helping me.
