Webhook changing the lead status?

I import a list, which triggers a data enrichment webhook for each lead created.  But not only does it add data elements, it seems to be changing a lead status (to "Marketing Nurture")

Is change of led status a function of me using a webhook? or is that caused by my having imported the list and not having import flags right?

any ideas - please let me know!
