Webex/Marketo Integration -- Maximum Registrants

If we have set up a WebEx event with a maximum number of registrants, and that number is reached -- will Marketo not send a registration confirmation email to any further registrants?  How does that work?

To the best of my knowledge there is no mechanism to cap the registrants even though the provider may set it.
