We are trying to host our webinar registration process on our website. Do you have to use a Marketo form in order for your Webex event to integreat with Marketo?

No, you can use either -- you can capture registrations with a Marketo form or through the WebEx event center.  The registrations will sync both ways.

Btw, this is not true for GTW.

Are you sure it works well for Webex? That's not what I've been told in the user guide.

Yes, but your question of "works well" is a good point. I should have added more to my first post.

@Michelle M --  Having all leads register through a Marketo form is the better way to do the WebEx integration, to guarantee that you capture everyone in Marketo from the beginning, and to ensure that your Marketo emails and programs execute the best (if that's your goal).

But leads who register for the webinar via another medium will still be synced into Marketo if they attend. So while not required, you could likely miss some leads by not doing registration through a Marketo form.

Best practice would be to use the Marketo form to register the leads.  This way you can send follow up emails to those who are invited, but not attended, etc.
