WebEx Integration

I was testing our WebEx integration by running a test campaign. I set up a test webinar via WebEx, and followed the Sample Event Integrated with WebEx: http://community.marketo.com/MarketoTutorial?id=kA250000000KytbCAC

Everything work out prefectly, until the webinar was over. It took until the next day for WebEx to update Marketo with the member statuses, which I expected via the tutorial. But it made my progression status as "No Show" when I did in fact attend the test webinar.

Any ideas as to what I did wrong?

Hey Michelle,

How long did you attend for? Just throwing out an idea, but maybe you did not attend long enough to register as an attendee. I couldn't find too much in the community, but maybe someone else has had this experience.

Please take a look at the report from WebEx.  Does it say you attended and Marketo says something different?

The WebEx report does say that I attended. In Marketo, if I click onthe event, and click on the members tab, it says I am a No Show.

Did you by chance start the meeting and then end the meeting?  Also, under Event Actions, can you click on "Refresh from Webinar Provider" to see if that updates the statuses?

I started the meeting, let it run for about 20 minutes, then ended the meeting. Our WebEx Events account is associated with someone elses email address. So, my email address was not the host of the webinar.  I also refreshed several times, and saw no changes.

Do I need to have a change program status step somewhere to push from Registered to attended? The guide I red led me to believe that it was automatic. Status changed to No Show automatically.

So if you were registered for the event, but actually did not attend the event (meaning you did not log in with the email address you registered with) then you would show as Not Attended.  You do not need to use progression status to update attended and no show, the system does it automatically.

You might call Marketo support to work through this issue

I had to log into Event Center with my co-worker's email address in order to start the WebEx. I loged into the WebEx as an attendee with my email address.
