Web Activity Not Logged

Hello,

I have a lead that filled out a web form, and that "form fill" is being captured in the activity log.  However, there is no log of them ever visiting one of our web pages.  How is that possible?

I know the munchkin code is installed and tracking becuase some web activity is being captured, just not all of  it.
It seems this has happened on several leads, where their first activity is a form fill, but I know that they had to be on our web site to fill that form out.

Could it be they have private browsing on?

I've had a similar problem at my company.

Does your website ask to store cookies? If a lead goes to the website and doesn't accept your cookies, the web activity doesn't get recorded.

Thanks that makes a lot more sense, not sure why I didn't think of that.


Is there a best practice to increase cookie usage?  Or is it at the mercy of each indiviudal's privacy settings?
