Wait Steps inside Engagement Program Transitions

Can you use a wait step to delay a transition between say stream 1 and stream 2? I've seen a few articles around here that sort of touch on this, but i'm looking for a more direct answer. Haven't tested it enough yet due to time restraint.

Thank you.

Hi Timothy,

You can use the wait step in the flow while defining the transition rules. It's similar to using a duration in a wait flow action in smart campaigns.

Hope this helps!

To expand on this, if you have a wait step to transition from stream 1 to stream 2 for 3 weeks that must end on M-F, and stream 2s cadence is set from M-Th at 12:45pm, do you need to set a time in the must end area of the wait flow? Is this the time the transition needs to be complete and how will it affect the cadence? How does the wait flow being M-F affect the cadence?

Thanks!
