VML href tracking

In the Fall '15 Release Notes it says 'VML is now supported within your HTML code' - yet when I add in a href onto a v:roundrect in VML Marketo doesn't have the capability to track the link? The URL stays as the original and doesn't update to a tracked link. Anyone else noticed this?
