Vidyard Video Tracking

Hi all,

I have Vidyard integrated with our Marketo instance, but I am trying to run a smart list to see who has viewed some of the vidyard videos.  My only problem is, I am trying to track 4 videos, but for some reason Marketo can only find 3 of them under 'vidyard.com/Started Watching xxxxx'

Can any one advise if this is the only way to track video views in Marketo?

Thanks

Juli

@Juli James Vidyard should work quite well for what you are trying to do.

Maybe an obvious question...but are you sure the 4th video you are looking for actually has views from known users?

If you don't have any view activity that could explain why it's not showing up in smart lists.

Also make sure the page the video is embedded on is a page that has Munchkin on it (it can't be the Vidyard "share" page as that won't work...I learned that one the hard way. Needs to be a Marketo page or a Munchkin-tagged page on your site.)

If that doesn't work the support guys at Vidyard are super helpful if you reach out to them.

Hey Juli,

Jon from Vidyard here - I'm happy to help! If you want to email support[at]vidyard.com, we can take a look and see if there's anything going on with the fourth video.

As Justin mentioned, if there's no known viewers on the video, this could be the problem. Ditto for the non-munchkin tracked page.

Send us an email, and we'll help debug!

Hi

Thanks everyone. The video I'm struggling to find has definitely had views as I can see emails in vidyard and when these are put into the lead database you can't see that theyve viewed the video.

Ill look at Josh's how to first and if I still can't see anything I'll contact vidyard directly.

Thanks

Juli
