utm Source paramters changing
I am setting up source paramters for PPC campaigns to the same asset. But I noticed something during testing that I have not seen before.
When we click on the below link. The lead source changes…for example:
URL for Facebook retargeting:
http://www.adeccousa.com/Employers/salary-guide/Pages/default.aspx?utm_source=facebookretargeting&utm_campaign=2014salaryguide
The URL changes to this noting that the lead source is defaulting to “ad”
http://www.adeccousa.com/Employers/salary-guide/Pages/default.aspx?utm_source=ad&utm_campaign=2014salaryguide
Not sure why this is happending, anyone have any ideas?
