UTM links

What is best practice for automatically tracking UTM in marketo? All the discussions I was looking into were old/prior to Adobe.

If I send an email out - how does marketo track the source of that? I currently was creating URL links with Google Analytics here: https://ga-dev-tools.google/campaign-url-builder/
