Question

Using snippet in tokens

I'm working on program templates for frequently repeated sales events. Is it possible to use text snippets inside of a token? I know it works the other way around, but haven't quite figured out if it's possible to use a snippet to populate a token.

For example, there are three or four basic types of sales events. They each have a slightly different description. I would like to use a snippet for each description, then use tokens to place the descriptions into emails, landing pages, etc.

Thoughts?

I've definitely used tokens in snippets with some success. It was mostly in emails, but should work on landing pages. Best way to figure that out (always) is to test, but I've definitely done this before. Just make sure your tokens match the program that you're using them in, especially if they are custom to the program. That one always tripped me up!

Thanks! I've used tokens in snippets before and how that works is clear. I'm wondering if it's possible to use snippets of text INSIDE a token. thanks.

I don't think you can do this based on the way snippets work. Unless the box/editable area is a token itself?
