Using Doubleclick click trackers on email links

Hi there. We've been having issues getting Doubleclick (DCM) click trackers to work when the Marketo token (mkt_tok) is enabled. We've tried both dynamic and static click tags but these all resolve in aspxerrorpath or error pages when clicked within an email.

The only way the click trackers work is when we disable mkt_tok tracking. However this isn't ideal as we'd like to be able to track on-site behaviour!

Has anyone had a similar issue and is able to shed some light into how they've fixed this?

    Try this:

    1. turn off mkt_tok (using the checkbox)
    2. change the URL to look like this:

    https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/405169999;20536999;g?https://www.example.co.nz/life-insurance/?mkt_tok=##MKT_TOK##

    Please provide a sample failing URL.

    There's almost always a workaround for such things, but I need to see your specific case.

    The first thing you should try is using a redirector page instead of going directly to the DCM tracker. Then the DCM tracking URL will not have the mkt_tok (neither will the final destination page), but the session will already have been associated via the initial redirector page (which does have the mkt_tok).
