User restriction Smart Campaign activation

I know you are able to restrict a user from activating a Smart Campaign using the permission controls, but will that individual still be able to deactivate and/or modify an existing, activated Smart Campaign? Additionally, are there any controls to prevent a user from modifying an existing Smart List or static list (which may be feeding a Smart Campaign that is active)?

Hi Brooke, you could remove the 'activate campaign' from every user role. Next create a user role with only 'activate campaign'. Now you can add that new role to every individual you want to have that rights instead of groups.

As far as changing triggers/campaigns after activation..... you're out of luck. I have a review process at Quintiq, and only a few people (that review) are allowed to activate. But afterwards people without rights can just simply modify active triggers/campaigns. This actually means this entire user setting makes no sense.
