Upload Opt Outs

How do I upload a list of leads and tag them as an Unsubscribe from the get-go? I know how to manually go in and make leads Opt Outs, but not how to do many at once.  Thanks!

Hi Lisa,

Not only you can upload them, but you can even do this without increasing your DB size. Read this: Feeding the Durable Unsubscribe List without increasing the database

    Hi Lisa,

    Here is one way.

    1. Create a local asset that is a list and call it "leads I want to unsub".

    2. Create a smart campaign that is based on a trigger, "Added to list", with the list being "leads I want to unsub".

    The flow action will be something like:

    3. Upload the leads to a particular list using the "Import list"

    4. From now on your workflow is to add any leads you want immediately unsubscribed to this list and the smart campaign handles the rest.

    There are other methods you could use but this might explain a few concepts when you put it into practice.
