Updating the CRM Mapping adding new field

Anyone know how to add setup a new field sync between Marketo and Salesforce?

Both fields are active in each system but I cannot seem to figure out how to tie them together.

If you create a new field in Salesforce, it should automatically sync over to Marketo on the next scheduled sync. On what object was this new field created?

On that note, any new fields in Marketo will NOT sync over. New fields to be shared in both systems must be created in your CRM first.

You can contact support to sync the newly created Mkto field (created by synching over from SFDC) to the already existing Mkto field. You just need to create a ticket.

So I have to contact support to map the two fields together?

I have one field in SFDC (Customer Type) and one in Marketo (Persona) that I want to map to each other.  Only way is contacting support?

Is customer type in Mkto as well? I'm thinking it should be.

One other way is to build a trigger campaign in Mkto that updates the Customer Type field whenever the Persona field is updated using a token.
