Update to Field Type from SFDC

We recently changed a field type on a new custom field in SFDC. The field had synced into Marketo with the original field type, we made the change and had hoped that they sync would update the field type. We've waited about 48hrs now and the field in Marketo still hasn't synced with the correct field type.

Will the field type eventually update, or do I need to make sure that the field is empty of all data on records before it will update? We've been doing some testing around the field so there is some data populated in marketo.

I believe you need to refresh the schema

I pulled the data out of the field and removed it from any test flows and then was able to change the type in Marketo to match the SFDC type. Looks like it's resolved now.
