I am having a heck of a time trying to explain Original Source Info and Original Referrer, and am just looking for how these are defined and populated.

I've scoured the site but may be missing something...thanks in advance!

Those come in from lead cookie data. Now it is often unpopulated because of Google's restriction on logged in users' search info.

But if a person came to your site directly, it should just put your site info into Referrer. Or if I came to your site via anothersite.com, then that URL would be in Referrer. Original Source may often have URL info or AdWords info if that's how they made it to your landing page.

Original Source Info (OSI) and Original Source Type (OST) provide info about how we acquired a lead.  If the lead was acquired by a form, OST="Web form fillout".  Other possible values include "Social App", "List Import", "Salesforce.com".  OSI would typically provide the name of the form/social app/list name, etc

Are we able to edit what these are called? My sales team would like the API OSI to be changed to something else. Thanks.
