Unsubscribe/Opt-Out Process

I have a client looking for the process for when someone unsubscribes from emails. Does Marketo have this outlined somewhere? They need to see timelines of when someone hit's "unsubscribe" to when they are actually removed.

Once someone unsubscribes, they will immediately be removed from future non-operational emails.

Right, but is that anywhere in Product Docs or any other Marketo material? My client would like to see it in writing from Marketo.
