Unable to access shared smart lists in smart campaigns

We've shared some core smart lists across all of our 24 workspaces.  These smart lists include master competitor email domains, master suppression lists (like our own company's domain), target account domains, etc.  We can see all of these within the Lead Database section of Marketo (within every workspace).  But we're unable to reference them in a smart campaign (either the smart list or flows section).  Is this a bug or can smart lists not be shared this way?

Is the master smart list in Default?

I recall having issues with this too. I believe the list must exist in the WS's Lead Database to be referenced by a campaign. So you'll need to clone them into the WS.

That's what we're doing now - and it's so painful to keep these up-to-date (and create new ones), considering we have so many workspaces.  Thanks Josh.

Hi Dan, it's a known limitation and we're looking at addressing this in a future release, but no timing is known yet. Best, Jep

Jep is correct, it is a known limitation.  We are hoping to have this feature in the December release, otherwise January.

That's great news, Cheryl - thanks!  @Jep, good to hear from you again - it's been a while.

I seem to have missed this, but Smart Lists can now be shared across work spaces.

To be more precise: Folders containing Smart Lists can now be shared and the Smart Lists inside that shared folder are now visible for Smart Campaigns that live in other work spaces. A huge improvement!

Yep, this was enabled about a year ago.  But better yet, in January, you can actually reference those shared smart lists in your smart campaigns across workspaces.  This is a huge time-saver for us (since we have 23 workspaces).
