Twitter Followers

You will need some 3rd party solutions to do this, or a dev that links Twitter API with Marketo's. And even though I am really not sure the Twitter API would enable you capture the email, making it quite hard to reconcile with the Marketo entry.

@Grégoire Michel's right on this. Like it or not, Twitter sunsetted their Lead Generation ads in February.​ He is also correct in his assumption - the Twitter API does not allow for email capture.  Unfortunately the 'out of the box' third party solutions which connect Marketo with Twitter either require a email to go into Marketo or a Twitter username to query twitter. The only solution is to setup a specialized integration that, upon a new 'follow' on Twitter, looks up matching information based on First Name/Last Name/whatever else you specify, and, if it finds a match, then changes scoring for the Lead accordingly. It looks like there are third party providers out there that can do this.
