Turning on Country picklists in SFDC

Hi,

we currently use Marketo synced with SFDC. At the moment the country field on leads and contacts are text fields.

We'd like to turn on the SFDC country and state picklists.

Besides cleaning the current data are there any other challenges people have run into?

I'm assuming the standard country fields in Marketo match the ones in SFDC?

Any help much appreciated.

Do not assume this. Please use an ISO picklist or similar and place the values in both systems and all forms, which you can find here:
