Trouble Publishing to Facebook

Are you using Forms 2.0 or the older Form?  If using Forms 2.0, only the following are supported -

1.       The marketer elects to use an external url follow-up page and that external url is a https url.
2.       The marketer elects to have leads stay on current page after submission by using Form Defined follow up page with no rules added to the follow up page rules section in the form.
3.     The marketer elects to use a landing page as a follow up page, has a https cert installed with Marketo and is configured to use https for their landing pages.

If I were to guess, it is likely that your follow-up page is not a secure (https) one.

Thank you for your response. 

I am using Forms 2.0 and I have created a Landing page with a form, and the form is have been followed up by a Marketo Landing Page. 

However, when I publish it on Facebook and someone submits the form, the screen doesn't change. It stays the same and the submit button turns into a please wait and thats it. Even though, the flow of the form is working correctly. 

I have tasted in in diffrent brousers. When I open Facebook with Google Chrome and Firefox, I experience the problems mentioned about. If I use Safari, the Thankl you page opens perfectly. 

What might be the issue for this? Since, I am using a Marketo follow-up page and it should be a secure one.

Hi Raj

I am having the same issue where my form on the facebook landing page is connected to a landing page, which shows up in the facbook tab, and i then have a trigger campaign that should send an auto email and add the form leads to a list. when filling the form out it doesnt get past the please wait page and does not go through the campaign I have.

I have the same issue, the landing page never is never refreshed to the thank you page or any other https link. all the other progresses are working well, like the leads can be added to the smart list and the thank you email can send out.

Hi Raj,

I made a case and now my issue has been finxed.

Marketo gave me a special link to use for the landing page. So I had to make the form go to a special link, which marketo gave me. They said the issue lays with them and the publishing to facebook connection as our actions are correct.

I am not sure if this link will have to be made for yuo so file a case so they can get back to you if not i will send you the one they gave me and maybe you could try and change it to work for you.
