Triggered Follow Up Emails

Hi Everyone, I currently send out newsletters once a month where each industry gets a different email.  Since I don't have a CRM I wanted to follow up with leads who clicked certian links in the newsletter.  Last month I did it as a default program and set up all my filter campaigns, after the email was sent out - this month it was suggested to me that I should use email programs but I also want it to to be triggered and set them up beforehand. Which is better for this, a default program or an email program?

Any insights would be appreciated!

Stick to what your doing now.
Email programs are quick - get it out the door- and testing. If your going to be having complex smart campaigns/smart lists and triggers etc then stick to programs.
