Trigger Campaign to Update SFDC Account Field

I am looking to have a trigger campaign that says when someone fills out a form, I would like to have a SFDC Account level field of the person be updated.  I have been able to find the field I would like in Marketo, but when I submit the form Marketo says it updated the field however that is never reflected in SF.....any thoughts?  Am I missing something?

Marketo cannot updated Account fields directly. I recommend adding this to the Contact record and Lead records.

Another solution is to call a webhook or API from the form.

Check out this article and think about it carefully, then reach out to support if you think you want to enable 2 way account sync.
