Transferring Unsubscibed Leads from a third party programme

I'm looking for best practise ideas regarding importing an existing unsubscribed list from a different marketing system.

Should I upload the list directing into the default unscribed list in the leads database

or

Create a new unsubscribe list under 'My Lists'.

Welcome ideas on the best approach.

You can add a column to your csv file that you import with the heading "Unsubscribed".  When you import the leads into Marketo, that field will be set and the leads will appear in the "Unsubscribed Leads" System Smart List.
