Does anyone know if Marketo has the ability to show you who has viewed a video on one of your landing pages and how long they watched it? If not, any suggestions on what system to use to obtain that information?

Kelly,

There was a thread or two on this in the past. I believe it takes javascript and other items to do this

I'm sure there are other ways around this, but we've had great success doing this with Vidyard. We can track if someone starts viewing a video, and then if they view it 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of the way through. All of that info can be pulled in as smartlist filters to use in campaigns, and implementation was super easy as well. Good luck!

Sounds like an awesome program! Is the cost reasonable?

Wistia also does this.

We just built a custom integration between Wistia and Marketo. It allows for exactly what you are looking for. It requires some custom development to work, but once you have it up and running you can attach each video to a program like the one in this screenshot and get some really nice metrics.

Hello,

I do not have the option of using vimeo or wystia right now, but I need to track if an embedded youtube video was watched on a landing page. I want to checge the program status for the page to "engaged" and need something to key off of.

I could find some onld content out there in the community, but all the links were broken.

Any thoughts?

Thanks much,

RM

I second the Wistia suggestions. They also have a free-tier that supports up to 25 videos with basic analytics so you can test it out, too!
